Lakers 124 - Philadelphia 93

The Lakers we have been getting used to came back in their game against Philadelphia. This after getting blown out by the Boston Celtics. That was a brief pause against the NBA's best team but the Lakers were back in a 124-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at Staples Center.

The Lakers recorded their best shooting percentage in more than 23 years when they went 47-of-72 from the floor (66.2 percent). On Nov. 11, 1984, the Lakers shot 67.8 percent in a 130-108 victory over Houston. The Lakers accurate shooting was tops in NBA this season. Dallas shot 65.2 percent in a 21-point victory over Sacramento on Nov. 3.

Andrew Bynum got back on track after having a terrible game against the Celtics, give Boston credit though. He had 17 points and 16 rebounds.Rookie Javaris Crittenton scored a career high 19 points to lead the Lakers. Seven Lakers scored in double figures and Kobe only had to score 15 points in this one. The way the other Lakers were shooting he only shot 9 field goals in 29 minutes going 5-9. To round it out Crittenton had 19, Bynum and Fisher each had 17, Farmar had 16, Turiaf and Bryant each had 15 and Ariza had 11.

The Lakers had a comfortable lead in this one at haltime leading 62-40 and were really never threatened in the game. Leading Philadelphia in the game was Williams with 17 points. So we now ride a new winning streak.
