Lakers 121 - Raptors 101

Kobe Bryant had a monster game scoring 46 points and leading the Lakers to a 121-101 victory against the Toronto Raptors shooting 19 for 28 in the game, 4-8 from 3 point land and giving the Toronto fans a great show with some impressive highlight dunks It was Toronto that Kobe scored his incredible 81 points against on January 22, 2006. Chris Bosh was impressed saying "He's the best one-on-one player in the league, hands down".

The Lakers had control for most of the game. They led by 6 points going into the fourth quarter 83-77 then broke the game open in the fourth winning the quarter 38-24.

Vujacic had another good game for the Lakers scoring 22 points and shooting 80% from the field 8-10. Farmar added 13 points, Odom 12 and Fisher 11.

For Toronto A. Bargnani had a great game leading Toronto with 28 points. C. Bosh had 22 points.

Can you believe that with the Lakers 29-16 record that if the playoffs were to start today that the Lakers would only be 2 games ahead of the 8th seeded Denver Nuggets. The West is really tough this year! In the East the Atlanta Hawks would qualify for the playoffs today with a 18-24 record! At this moment here are the top teams in the West.

Phoenix 33-14 .702, New Orleans 32-14 .696, Dallas 31-14 .689, San Antonio 29-16 .644, L.A. Lakers 29-16 .644, Utah 29-18 .617, Golden State 29-19 .604, Denver 27-18 .600

If the Lakers were in the East the only teams with better records than them would be the Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons.
