Lakers 108 - Jazz 105 * Lakers knock out Jazz 4-2 and are off to the Western Conforence Finals

The Lakers finally sent the Utah Jazz home after a game 6 victory in Utah's tough home court. The Lakers completely dominated the game and had the Jazz in a position they are not used of being in while playing at home. The Lakers were up by 19 points at the half and still led by 16 at the end of the third. With about two minutes left in the game the Lakers had a comfortable 10 point lead 101-91 but then things started to get a little scary. While everyone thought that the game was over, no one passed on the memo to the Jazz. Okur hit a couple threes and Kirilenko hit one and before you knew it the Lakers were up by only three points 103-100 with 21 seconds to play. Lamar Odom then hit a pair of free throws but Kirilenko hit another three and the score was Lakers 105 - Jazz 103 with 15 seconds left in the game. Kobe Bryant hit a couple free throws but Millsap scored real quick for Utah so the Lakers then had a 107 - 105 lead with 10 seconds. Fisher got fouled, hit the first free throw but missed the send giving the Utah Jazz a chance to send this game to OT if they could hit a three. Okur misses his three point attempt and Williams had one final shot but missed and the Lakers could breath once more.

Kober Bryant led the Lakers with 34 points. Gasol had 17 and Fisher 16.

The Jazz were led by Deron Williams 21 points, Okur had 16 points.

Though this series is over I have to give my respect to the Jazz. They did way better in this series than I thought they would. They will be one of the top NBA teams for years to come.

Who's next? New Orleans? San Antonio? We will find out Monday.
