Lakers bounce back and beat 76ers 114-102

Andrew Bynum had 18 points in this game, Pau Gasol had 22 points and 13 rebounds but tonight belonged to the guy who was paying a visit to his hometown, Kobe Bryant. Bryant, Long reviled in Philadelphia, even heard some cheers, even some "MVP!" chants from the crowd. Kobe led all players in the game by scoring 32 points on 12-20 shooting.

It was a great rebounding effort by the Laker after a lat second disappointing loss at Indiana yesterday. From the start of the game the Lakers held control of this game the Lakers controlled the tempo. The only time Philadelphia really threatened was in the third quarter when they got within six points of the Lakers but after a Derek Fisher three pointer and a Kobe Bryant three, all of a sudden the lead was back up to twelve points.

Andre Miller scored 26 point for the 76ers but Elton Brand seemed to be the man of concern in Phillie. Elton Brand had only 3 points on 1-7 shooting in the game. In the fourth quarter Elton revealed he had a strained right hamstring. H will be evaluated on Thursday and all they can hope for is that their 80 million dollar contract guy is OK.

The Lakers are now 15-2. They take tomorrow off and then will visit Washington on Friday.
