Lakers beat Clippers and are a perfect 4-0 during this young season

The Lakers would take on the Clippers again Thursday evening. The Lakers of course embarrassed the Clippers in their first meeting earlier this week by beating them by 38 points. The game tonight was officially a home game for the Lakers and the Lakers were looking to make it a perfect 4-0 so far this season by beating up on the Clipps again. The Lakers won again tonight 106-88 and by looking at the games score you would think that the Lakers gave the Clippers another thumping tonight but that was not the case. The Clippers actually gave the Lakers a good game tonight and even held a 81-79 lead with just over 8 minutes left in the game. A 22-0 run by the Lakers in the fourth quarter put this game out of reach though for the Clippers and the Lakers are off to their best start since the 2003-2004 season when they won their first 5 games to open up the season.

Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers by scoring 27 points and almost got to the line more than the entire Clippers team. Bryant got to the line 14 times, the entire Clippers team only 15 times.

Lamar Odom had a good game by leading the second unit to some excellent play. Odom ended the night with 15 points and 9 rebounds in only 29 minutes.

Andrew Bynum didn't score much tonight as he scored 9 points but he was getting the job done on the glass by grabbing 17 rebounds.

Fisher and Radmanovic respectfully had 13 points and 11 points. The thing about these two though is that it seems like they really hit that key three point shot when you really need it.

Thorton led the Clippers with 22 points. Tim Thomas gave the Clippers a spark off of the bench by scoring 18 points. Baron Davis struggled again shooting only 7-21, good for 17 points. The clippers are 0-5 to start this season, their worst start since losing their first 17 games in the1998-1999 season.

The Lakers will now have pleny of time to rest as they don't play another game unil Sunday night when the Rocets vist Staples Center.
