Greatet Lakers team ever?

When the Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday they tied the all time franchise record for the best start ever after 19 games. The Lakers are 17-2 matching the 1986-1986 Lakers who also started the seaon 17-2.

That is quite a feat these Laker have achieved. It is something the 1971-1972 Lakers didn't do or the Kobe-Shaq Lakers never did. Of course the team that they matched with is Magic Johnson's showtime Lakers who are one of the greatest basketball team ever in the sport.

It would not be wise to even compare this young Lakers team to showtime or any of the other great Laker teams of the past but if this team stays together for a while you can be sure that they will be one of the great Laker team we will talk about 30 years from now. especially if you keep the trio of Bryant, Gasol and Bynum together.
